| Amanda Stevenson, at left, the event coordinator presents a check to Deb McAbee the Clinic Resource Development Coordinator. Funds raised by this dinner and auction on August 18, 2008 will underwrite BEST CHOICE, a high risk, early mammography program. It will provide breast cancer screening for women from 35-39 years of age who have a family history and can meet the Clinic guidelines. BEST CHOICE also creates an opportunity for the medical providers to talk to Clinic patients about risk factors and to teach breast self-exam. |
